1. Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum ⭐ Free
One of the most visited museums in the UK and Glasgow’s crown jewel. The stunning red sandstone building in the West End houses an extraordinary collection — Salvador Dalí’s Christ of Saint John of the Cross, an entire natural history wing, Egyptian mummies, medieval armour and much more. All completely free.
The building itself is as much a draw as the collection. There’s also a popular café inside and the museum hosts regular evening events and organ recitals.

2. The Burrell Collection ⭐ Free
One of the world’s great art collections, gifted to the city by shipping magnate Sir William Burrell. Over 9,000 objects spanning ancient civilisations, medieval Europe, Chinese ceramics, tapestries and Impressionist paintings — all housed in a stunning award-winning building within Pollok Country Park.
Recently reopened after a major refurbishment, the Burrell is better than ever. Set aside at least 2–3 hours and combine it with a walk through Pollok Park.

3. Riverside Museum ⭐ Free

The Tall Ship Glenlee is moored just outside — free to board and explore. The café has great views over the Clyde.
